The two organizations will share a community space located at 20464 S Dixie Highway, Cutler Bay, FL, under the new name “Pridelines powered by Foo Society, Inc.” The partnership aims to expand support, outreach, and resources to the LGBTQAI+ community in South Dade. The partnership aims to enhance the local community’s access to essential services such as HIV/STI testing, PrEP linkage, and mental health support, while also fostering creative expression and youth empowerment through Foo Society’s arts and media initiatives. The organizations plan to operate the space Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. set to open sometime in October 15th.

Dr. Edward Summers, Executive Director of Pridelines, expressed his excitement about the collaboration: “This partnership with Foo Society allows us to expand our reach into South Dade and provide vital services to the LGBTQ+ community. The new space, Pridelines powered by Foo Society, Inc., represents the power of collaboration in strengthening our outreach and support for individuals who need us the most. The strategic partnership aims to strengthen both organizations’ ability to provide essential services, such as HIV/STI testing, youth programming, and community resources, all under one roof. Additionally, Foo Society’s physical presence will enhance the organization's capacity to serve more young adults in need of their services.

Kyya Love, CEO of Foo Society, Inc., shared her thoughts on the partnership: “Our partnership with Pridelines signifies an important step forward in our mission to empower LGBTQ+ youth and provide a supportive, resource-rich environment for the community. By co-locating with Pridelines, we are not only increasing access to critical services but also demonstrating that when organizations unite, we can make a larger, more lasting impact.”

Nicolle Nyariri, Director of Strategic Evens, Fundraising, and Communications added: “This partnership is a testament to the strength of collaboration in the nonprofit world. It aligns with our mission to serve and uplift the LGBTQ+ community in every possible way. I believe this is just the beginning of what we can achieve together to make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need our support.”

In addition to their shared services, Pridelines and Foo Society are also developing a joint fundraising strategy to support the continued growth and success of the new center.
