CampOUT is more than just a fun weekend away (overnight is optional). It's a comprehensive three-day program that offers LGBTQ+ and allied youth the opportunity to develop and build their leadership skills while also gaining access to a wide range of "camp" and nature activities that may not be readily available to them. Participants can choose to stay overnight or attend as a day camper.

During CampOUT, youth will participate in and/or lead workshops and skills-building activities focused on a variety of social justice topics, such as bullying and school safety, activism, gender identity development, leadership, civic engagement, safer sex, community organizing, media literacy, storytelling, and more. In addition to these workshops, there will be plenty of opportunities for campers to engage in recreational activities such as canoeing, hiking, and archery, and more!

At CampOUT, we prioritize creating a safe space for LGBTQ+ and allied youth to be themselves, make connections, and learn from one another. Whether you're looking to gain leadership skills, learn more about social justice issues, or just have fun in nature, CampOUT has something for everyone.
