CampOUT

CampOUT is a comprehensive three-day (overnight optional leadership development and social justice program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning (LGBTQ+) and allied youth. It provides LGBTQ youth with the opportunity, time and structure to develop and build leadership skills while also enjoying access to a wide range of “camp” and nature activities not readily available to them.

At CampOUT youth participate in and/or lead workshops and skills-building activities focused on bullying and school safety, activism, gender identity development, leadership, civic engagement, safer sex, community organizing, media literacy, storytelling, and other social justice topics.
