Our Youth Council
Jamesly Louis
President
Jamesly Louis, 20, was born in Haiti. He is a student at Miami Dade College majoring in theater. Jamesly is also a Youth Speaker for Safe Schools South Florida. He enjoys acting, singing, networking and making homemade teas.
Jamesly would like to pursue a career in the performing arts while owning his own tea shop.
Enrique Alvarado
First Vice President
Enrique Alvarado, 20, was born in Miami, Florida. He is a student at Barry University with an interest in English Literature. Enrique is also a member of the Barry Pride group. His hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, spending time at Pridelines and volunteering at local non-profit organizations.
Enrique looks forward to becoming an English teacher until he can assume the role of Executive Director at Pridelines.
Jean-Paul Ravinet
Second Vice President
Jean-Paul Ravinet, 21, was born in Miami, Florida. He is currently a student at the University of Miami pursuing a degree in Psychology. Jean-Paul was Vice-President of the Democratic Student Alliance in his high school; he is incredibly avid about politics and human rights, and has spent much time doing volunteer work for the community as a result. Jean-Paul enjoys nothing more than meeting new friends and assisting others when they need help either emotionally or physically.
Jean-Paul is eager to pursue his doctorate in psychology after he finishes his undergrad studies. Afterwards, he wishes optimistically to open his own practice primarily helping and counseling families and teens with social issues (including LGBT concerns).
Alexander Febres
Treasurer
Alexander Febres, 19, was born in Miami, Florida. He is a student at Miami Dade College, majoring in English. Alex was the treasurer of his high school Gay Straight Alliance for two years. Alex enjoys volunteering at Pridelines on a weekly basis, reading, writing, hanging out with friends and knitting.
Alex is excited to become an English teacher and starting his own company specializing in hand knitted caps.
Escarleth Parajon
Secretary
Escarleth Parajon, 17, was born in Miami Florida. She is currently a student at North Miami Senior High School and attends Dual Enrollment at George T. Baker Aviation High. Escarleth is also a member and secretary of the following: The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) of The Children’s Trust, Skills U.S.A, Technology Student Association (TSA), and editor of the yearbook. She enjoys spending time at Pridelines, meeting new people, and hanging out with friends and family.
Escarleth really wants to become an Aviation mechanic with an Airframe and Powerplant License.
Skylar Bree
Historian
Skylar Bree, 16, was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Miami as a young child. She now resides in North Miami Beach and is a sophomore in high school. Skylar spends her free time reading and writing. When she isn’t found with a book in her hands she is probably at Pridelines being awesome. She is an expert at awkwardly shuffling around while other people have conversations around her, being really attractive, writing mediocre poetry, playing with her pet cat and being awesome.
